So with one purchase you can give yourself a lift and help our wounded service men and women, as well as supporting the Fairtrade movement to protect farmers and workers in developing countries.

The first of our Help for Heroes products is now available. For every 400g jar of Heroes Instant Hot Chocolate sold Caley’s will donate 10p to the registered charity in support of our wounded service men and women.

Having been approached several months ago, Caley’s are now confirmed as a featured company of The Chocolate Show - with the first venue being (very fittingly) Norwich.

The Chocolate Show is a new event that will run from 28th to 30th November in St. Andrew’s Hall, Norwich, with Caley’s taking part in the Blackfriars Hall area. Here we will be carrying out 30 minute sessions that will include information on the history of Caley’s and chocolate in Britain, as well as free tastings.

We are pleased to announce the launch of 3 products in support of the registered charity Help for Heroes. The range will include a Heroes Fairtrade Instant Hot Chocolate drink and 2 Fairtrade Chocolate Bars (milk and dark).

Help for Heroes supports our wounded service men and women and has already raised over £10 million for the cause in less than a year. The partnership continues Caley’s traditional association with the British Forces having once supplied our Marching chocolate to their rations.

Following several years of customer feedback and development, we are pleased to announce the launch of Caley’s ChocoLite - Fairtrade Low Calorie Instant Hot Chocolate.

With new packaging and a new taste, this product still contains only 40 calories and less than 1% fat per serving.

Our famous Marching chocolate, recently converted to Fairtrade, has been listed nationally with Morrisons supermarkets. The Milk and Dark chocolate 100g bars will be available across the UK in 384 stores.

The listing follows our recent update to the chocolate bar that once formed a part of British troops ration packs.

In April Caley’s were invited to enter Tug of War competition at the Over Wallop Church Village Fete. Being a fun local event (close to our Head Office), and always in favour of a challenge, the offer was accepted without hesitation.

Our drinking chocolates, instant hot chocolates and cocoa powder are now all available in catering packs for the ‘out of home’ market.

The range includes ChocoLite (450g), Classic and Truffle (both 1kg) instant Hot Chocolate drinks, as well as our luxury Drinking Chocolate, Truffle Drinking Chocolate (both 1kg) and Cocoa Powder (750g). Continuing our commitment to Fairtrade, Caley’s Marching chocolate is the first of our traditional range to be converted to use Fairtrade ingredients.

The conversion also includes an update to our packaging and design, giving the product a more contemporary feel, yet maintaining the heritage and quality that our customers are used to. The Milk and Dark chocolate bars still contain high levels of cocoa (70% in the dark) and deliver a superb taste experience.
